3) Equus Bass 770
The Bass 770 is a boutique muscle car produced by American auto manufacturer Equus Automotive. They’ve borrowed influences from classic muscle cars including the Mustang and the Corvette. The result is a car with modern auto technology, while retaining a classic external look. The 770 is entirely handmade and was first unveiled to the public by Equus in 2014.
The Bass 770 has an aluminum and carbon fiber body built on top of an aluminum frame. The engine is also aluminum. The Bass 770 is powered by GM’s LS9 6.2-litre supercharged V8, same as in the Chevy Corvette. It puts out 640 bhp and 605 lb ft torque.
Power reaches the rear wheels via a 6 speed double clutch transmission. The car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. Its top speed is 200 mph. Traction control and variable ratio power steering come as standard on all models. The Bass 770 also happens to be a muscle car with a taste for luxury. Black leather interiors with touches of chrome, and a console with integrated touch-screen are just some of the finishing touches.
