Manufactured in its current form since 1999, the Sierra 1500 is mechanically an identical twin of the Chevrolet Silverado. This popular series of heavy duty pickup trucks retails in the US starting from $32,145 for the regular cab and standard box variant.

The default engine is the 4.3 litre aluminum block V6 engine capable of running on unleaded gasoline or up to 85% ethanol blends. The engine is updated with all of GMC’s newest engine technologies, which maximize power when needed and efficiency when possible. Standard transmission is the smooth shifting, electronically controlled, six-speed gearbox with tow/haul mode.

Options and extras include a 5.3 litre V8 engine, auto locking rear differential, LED lit cargo box, remote locking tailgate, and rear view camera. Other variants of the 2017 Sierra 1500 come with even more options to customize and power-up the ride on the outside and in, with features like a 7-inch diagonal color touch screen with full smartphone compatibility and voice activated commands.
